Liutauras Gudžinskas

Head of Northern European Studies Centre at the VU IIRPS, and editor-in-chief of the Baltic Journal Political Science. Elected as the President of Lithuanian Political Science Association in 2013. Lecturing at the VU IIRPS since 2008.
In 2012 L. Gudžinskas defended dissertation at Vilnius University (title of dissertation: “Transformation of postcommunist states and their welfare regimes: comparative analysis of Baltic countries”)
2006, Master degree in Comparative Politics (VU IIRPS), Magna cum laude
In 2005 and 2008 he had internship at Creighton university (USA), in 2009 – at Tallinn University (Estonia).
In 2004-2009 L. Gudžinskas worked at the Office of Prime Minister of the Lithuanian Republic, in the department of the EU policy. In 2007-2009 he was the head of division of the EU policy analysis at this department.
L. Gudžinskas is a founder of several student organisations. In 2006-2011 he was the student representative at the Senate of Vilnius University, in 2007-2011 the representative of PhD students at the Council of VU IIRPS, in 2010-2011 he was the president of Vilnius university students’ representation.
