Rolandas Kačinskas

Kacinskas is a senior Lithuanian diplomat, who has been serving in the country’s diplomatic service since 1996. He currently holds the position of Political Director.
Kacinskas has served in a wide range of posts within the Lithuanian foreign ministry, including as a Spokesperson to the Foreign Minister, Director for Public Diplomacy, Head of the Russia Division.  Kacinskas was posted twice to the United States and seconded to the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office. 

For merits in implementing strategic foreign policy goals Kacinskas was awarded with Signs of Remembrance of Lithuania’s membership in the EU and NATO. He has three Master’s Degrees in Social Geography, Political Science and Diplomacy, as well as PhD in Social Science. He pursued his degrees at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, Lancaster University in England and Vilnius University in Lithuania.
