Prof. L. Balcerowicz - The Ways out of the Eurozone Crisis


Prof. Leszek Balcerowicz is a famous Polish economist, former chairman of the National Bank of Poland and Deputy Prime Minister in Tadeusz Mazowiecki's government, the first non-communist government of Central and Eastern Europe after World War II. He is most known for his leading role in the implementing of the Polish economic transformation program in the 1990s, an economic shock-therapy named after him and commonly referred to as the Balcerowicz Plan.
