Project description
The aim of this project is to analise and critically evaluate the current state of Lithuanian history policy as well as to provide the guidelines for its future development to correspond with the needs of Lithuanian endurance and further advancement in the age of globalisation. This research project addresses the following politological dimensions of history politics: (a) the formation and expression of political will as well as the clash of interests in respect to history, historical memory and mnemotechnics; and (b) the reflectiveness and consciousness of the politicians' history conceptions.
