VU BOTANIKOS SODE ŠIANDIEN ŽYDI

VU Botanikos sode žiedynais jau apsipylė garsusis Alyvų kalnas: pradeda žydėti hiacintinių alyvų (Syringa x hyacinthiflora) veislės ir paprastosios alyvos (Syringa vulgaris), t.y. net 140-ties veislių krūmai, tarp kurių – ukrainietiškoji ‘Ogni Donbassa‘ (‘Donbaso žiburiai’), olandiškoji ‘Flora 1953‘, prancūziškoji ‘Katherine Havemeyer‘ ir kt. veislės. 

Sodo rododendryne esantys augalai – jau pakeliui į savo žydėjimo piką. Gausiai žydinčių augalų rasite ir kitose sodo kolekcijose, kurias lengviau rasite pažvelgę į šį spalvingą VU Botanikos sodo žydėjimo kalendorių.
